The Scottish legend that is Andy Murray has had an already fantastic career on grass, most notably his win on home turf, at Wimbledon. The young Scot has recently surpassed this with his dramatic win on clay against the “King of Clay” Rafa Nadal. It had been said that Nadal was unbeatable on clay and it has taken some seriously hard work on and off the court to get to the standard needed to knock Nadal off the top spot. “It’s one of the hardest things in tennis to try and win against Rafa on clay, so I’m glad I’ve managed to do it,” Murray told Sky Sports. Murray’s win can be attributed to experience and realisation that he had to adapt his game and take control “I used the second serve into the forehand a lot and that worked well because I was able to get him moving. I dealt with all of the nervy moments I had in the match pretty well.” The question now is can Andy achieve world number one position and how does he do it? Chalet Cragganmore have the perfect luxury training facility for him to do so!
